The Autumn Equinox
Maîtres du moment
The equidistant voice of balance sang its resounding song and nature responded.
And then came Autumn
Its rich deep colors and texture warmed our hearts
with the lush green grass fading into a crackling blanket beneath our feet
The Autumn leaves whispered the sound of the past
Our song gently swept up by Autumn’s gentle cool breeze
Echo’s from the season’s past began to dissipate into the early sunset
only to whisper the sound of the seasons to come
And then came Autumn
Summer’s bright blue skies slowly faded to grey
Heaven’s tear drops began to fall
The moon became the sun of the night
And then came Autumn
The time when reflection began
A time when giving thanks took over
and our hearts discovered the comfort of home
And then came Autumn
The season when superfluous thoughts began to fade into the mist
A time when a tiny flicker of light embodied the inner darkness
of despair, promising a brilliant new beginning
And then came Autumn
And then came you
